Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the manger today, and just in time for Xmas. After living in SE Asia for the better part of two years, Evo’s kinda done with being surrounded by religion, and religion is an inescapable part of every culture in this part of the world. As he explains in the episode, his malaise started with a visit to Angkor Wat, festered living in Thailand, and came to a head as he slammed through three different religious cultures in Indonesia.
Fair warning: While Evo doesn’t take aim at any one religion or make disparaging remarks against people who are religious, there is a great chance that devout listeners will take offence. That isn’t the intention of this episode, and there are some rather humorous moments throughout. But you have been warned.
