Have You Visited The Tombs Of Vietnam?
Vietnam was one of our favorite countries from last year's epic trip around the world. Though we only stayed in country for about three weeks, we quickly fell in love with the people, the land, and the history.
When (not if) you get there, make your way down to Hue, the historic capital of imperial Vietnam. Not far from the city, you'll find a variety of tombs to various rulers, all open to the public for hours of personal wandering and reflection.
One of my favorites was the tomb of Minh Mang, and these huge water lilies made the perfect backdrop for a One Minute Memories video. Even though this tomb is quite some distance from the city, the sounds of the ever-present traffic are present. Such is part of the "charm" of Vietnam. (Hint: Don't drive here.)
